DFP15 or (u)DFP20

Both of the bases use industrial motors for which we use the relevant metrics for simracing applications and pick out motors that offer a good price point for our customers, while also offering the benefits of the industrial reliability.

Aside from the clear difference that the DFP20 wheelbase can peak at 20NM, and the DFP15 can peak at 15, the DFP20 is a motor we offer for professional users, DFP15 is an offer for the midrange market segment.

The (u)DFP20 has 22 bits optical encoder, DFP15 has 21 bit magnetic encoder, a bit less resolution, still best in class

DFP15 uses a new generation of industrial motor. It's more agile, and has less friction allowing it to capture even more details from the sim.

The (u)DFP20 has exceptional reliability proven by the years on the market. DFP15 has a custom motor body built around the standard motor, allowing us to pass USB signal via the motor body to the USB hub on the back. It also integrates control electronics into the motor body eliminating long cables from controller to the motor, as the controller and power supply are inside of the motor body.

• DFP15 has new generation QR Connect built in and comes with motor side QR. DFP20 comes with a bare shaft, and QR Connect comes as a separate accessory with R295 steering wheel.

• (u)DFP20 - upgradable wheelbase is a unique offering that allows you to get a professional level base with the torque rating that would grow with you. Upgradability feature is not available on DFP15.
